What a fantastic day for our Annual Band Workshop. The sun was shining, the rain stayed away and Covid didn’t shut us down!
We’re so very thankful that we were able to hold this year’s event and that the kids could shine.
Four hours of tutorials and rehearsals ending in our first live performances for our Band parents…. Our first live performances in 18 months and the first live performance ever for most of our Training and Intermediate Band kids. Our students were all smiles with such a huge sense of achievement.
Thank you to our Band Event Coordinator – Jacqui Baxter – and to Elena Andersen – our Band Convener – for all the hard work in planning and executing the event and to so many of the band parents who helped with set-up, supervision, pack-up and, most importantly, for being the biggest supporters of our kids – applauding with enthusiasm, proud smiles and cheers.
