On the 3rd of November, Normanhurst West Public School’s Junior Band, Concert Band and Performance Band played at Hornsby North Public School. All of the bands were very successful and did exceptionally well. First was the Junior Band, who played Surge and Creepy Crawlies. With everyone being very nervous, the Junior Band did amazing! The adjudicators gave them a distinction. Next was the Concert Band, playing March to the Headmaster’s Office and Awake the Iron. The adjudicators gave us a high distinction for our performance which we are very proud of! Lastly there was the Performance Band. We played Colours of the Wind and Lightning. We went very well and we are happy with our performance and score. The adjudicators gave us a high distinction for our performance. All of the students involved in the bands came home with a smile on their faces knowing that they did exceptionally well! We would like to thank Mr Odams for being such a great conductor for all of the bands at Normanhurst West!
